“Mainsprings has become a home away from home for me and my family.”

You have heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, well today is Giving Tuesday, a day of global generosity unleashing the power of people to transform their communities after, what is typically, a weekend filled with shopping. We are asking you to make a donation to Mainspring as a way to celebrate Giving Tuesday and help us reach our goal of $50,000 by December 31.

Donations made to our End of Year Giving Campaign will help to make sure that Mainspring Schools can continue to provide our program's three pillars; innovative learning, health and wellness, and the whole family approach of support.

Jaime Rios, our Staff Coordinator, wanted to share her Mainspring story with you and how your contributions help every family here.

"I stumbled upon Mainsprings Schools on a neighborhood walk to the park with my three children, when my oldest son needed to use the restroom. We walked around and were greeted by Alice Gomez, the Family Services Manager, at the time. Alice showed interest in my family and then told me the history of Mainsprings, and I felt connected and wanted to be a part of this community. I was fascinated and in awe of the work of Mainsprings Schools. Shortly after our visit, I enrolled my 11-month-old son, where he thrived and where I fell in love with the quality care and resources as a single parent. Before I knew it I started working at Mainspring and over time ended up being in every class with all of the age groups here.

Twenty-three years later and I’m now the Staff Coordinator and Floater and will soon start my role as an Assistant Director of Education. With 30 years of experience, I’m excited and honored to coach and guide families and teachers here. Mainsprings has become a home away from home for me and my family."  - Jaime Rios, Mainspring Schools' employee

When you make a donation to Mainspring, you help ensure that we can continue to support our staff, like Jaime, our students, and their families.

Happy Giving Tuesday from Mainspring and thank you for helping our families!
