Parent Support Group: Connecting through Play

Welcome to the exciting world of Theraplay! In this course, we will embark on a journey to learn about Theraplay, an evidence-based approach that supports healthy child and caregiver attachment. Developed over 50 years ago and practiced worldwide, Theraplay is beneficial for children and caregivers.

Did you know that a strong bond between children and their important adults forms the foundation for good mental health and resilience in the face of challenges? Through modern brain research and neuroscience, we have discovered that attachment is the key to helping children understand, trust, and flourish in their world.

In this course, we will focus on using play as a powerful tool for interaction with our little ones. Through engaging activities and interactive exercises, we will develop a deeper understanding of our children's emotions and feelings. By applying Theraplay principles, we will explore how to foster a secure attachment and promote healthy relationships with the children we care for.

Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of Theraplay and discover how play can be a catalyst for nurturing strong attachments. Get ready to enhance your skills and create meaningful connections with the children in your life.
