I love working at Mainspring!
My name is Anisha Rhodes-Wynn and I am a former student and parent and now worker, and grandparent here at Mainspring. Being a part of Mainspring brings joy to my heart and I am proud to work alongside amazing people who have helped mold my children.
I started working at Mainspring back in 2016. I came on as a floater in the 3-year-old class and I really enjoyed it. However, I was offered a position at J. Houston Elementary and chose to become a Teacher Assistant in Special Education (SPED). A few years later, in 2022, I came back to Mainspring to help just for the summer and ended up taking the job permanently.
I love working at Mainspring because of what we do for our families. We give all we can to make sure that we take care of our students, as well as their parents and families. You can’t find that everywhere. Mainspring isn’t just a daycare or a school, we are family. We strive every day to make sure we take care of our community and be a safe place for those who need it.
Being here at Mainspring, on the administration side, has opened my eyes to all the wonderful things being done at Mainspring. We lead families to success, we provide them with tools to become better people, we assist them in their time of need, and we make sure everyone feels the love from our community.
We are now taking donations for our End of Year Giving (EOYG) campaign where we are focused on raising $50,000 and we would truly appreciate any donation to help us continue our mission here at Mainspring.
Thank you for being a part of the Mainspring family and ensuring that we can continue our work.
